Hangzhou Yutong Machinery Co., Ltd.
Hangzhou Yutong Machinery Co., Ltd. is a Renhe-based machinery maker in Hangzhou, Zhejiang, with a history it dates to 2002. It builds the machines that make wooden packaging: steel-edged box equipment, steel-strip forming lines, machines for box components such as corners and clips, wooden-pallet equipment and cold-roll-forming machinery. The machines serve plants that build wooden boxes, box parts and pallets. Yutong suits a buyer setting up or expanding box or pallet production, and it does not supply machines that fill or close a retail pack.

SECTION 01
What the catalogue covers
Yutong's company page describes the business as steel-strip, wooden-box and related forming equipment. The product catalogue sorts this into four groups. [1]
Swipe or scroll the table to compare all columns.
| Catalogue group | What it makes | Tell Yutong when asking |
|---|---|---|
| Steel-edged wooden-box equipment | Machines for boxes built from wood or plywood panels held by steel edges | Finished box drawing and which operations you want covered |
| Steel-strip and corner or clip components | Formed steel edge profiles and the small metal parts that join a box | Steel grade, thickness and profile drawing |
| Wooden-pallet equipment | Machines for building wooden pallets | Pallet design and the condition of your timber |
| Cold-roll-forming machinery | Roll-formed metal profiles | Profile drawing and what the profile is for |
The cold-roll-forming group also serves profiles outside packaging, so ask Yutong which of those machines it has built for box edges. Pallet building is a different job from wrapping a loaded pallet; for that step look at stretch-wrapper makers instead.
SECTION 02
The steel-edge box machine
The catalogue page for steel-edged box production machinery carries a photograph and a product name, dated December 2021. No model code or data table appears there, so request the current model list and a dated data sheet when you make contact. [2]
These machines sit in the container forming category on this site, because they produce the shipping box itself. Bravan is the closest comparison here: its blow-molding machines also make an empty container, in its case a PET bottle.
SECTION 03
Plan the box line around your drawing
Start with a drawing of the finished box. Show the wooden or plywood panels, the steel edge profile, the corners, the joints and the assembled box. Mark which parts you will buy in and which you want to make yourself.
Then ask Yutong to match each proposed machine to one production step and to name the material that goes into it. A complete box job can include cutting, forming, fastening and assembly. Two quotes for a "box line" may cover different steps, so a step-by-step list lets you compare them fairly.
For formed steel parts, agree the incoming coil or strip specification and the finished part dimensions and tolerances with Yutong's engineers. For a full box project, agree how the parts are joined and how a finished box will be checked.
SECTION 04
Output and size changes
A strip-forming speed, parts per minute and finished boxes per hour measure different things. Ask Yutong to state the unit and the test conditions for every machine it offers, including manual work and changeover time. The finished-box rate is set by the slowest step plus any hand assembly, so a parts-per-minute figure on its own does not tell you how many boxes you will ship.
If you make several box sizes, ask for a tooling matrix that shows which sizes run on adjustable tooling, which need a separate tool set, and which rely on manual fixtures. Ask to see a size change done on a representative machine.
SECTION 05
Confirm before ordering
The catalogue photograph shows a CE marking. If you need CE, ask Yutong for the declaration of conformity that covers your exact configuration. [2]
Before signing, get these points from Yutong in writing:
- the exact model, material range, rated output with its unit, price and lead time;
- the assembly site, machine drawings, tooling scope and list of bought-in components;
- the layout, utilities, installation, after-sales service and the legal entity that signs the contract;
- whether you may reuse its catalogue pictures in your own material.
Send these requests with a dated process map, then have Yutong answer against each step on it.

SECTION 07
Buyer questions
Does Yutong make carton sealers or filling machines?
No. Its catalogue covers machines that make wooden boxes, box parts and pallets. [2]
Does the CE marking in the photo cover my machine?
Ask for the declaration of conformity issued for your configuration and check it before shipment.
Can I take one machine's speed as my box output?
No. Map every step from strip to finished box, mark which are manual, and ask for the output of the whole line.
