Zhejiang Bravan Machinery Co., Ltd.

Zhejiang Bravan Machinery Co., Ltd. is based in Fenghua, Ningbo, and builds PET bottle blow-molding machines, molds and the air and cooling equipment that supports them. Its fastest servo blower, the eight-cavity BR-8U0.6L, is rated at 12,000 bottles an hour for bottles up to 0.6 litres, and the four-cavity BR-4U2.5L handles bottles up to 2.5 litres at 6,000 an hour. Bravan suits buyers who want to blow their own empty PET bottles in-house instead of buying them in. [1][2]

Build your inquiry checklist

SECTION 01

What Bravan makes

Bravan's website groups its range into high-speed servo machines, blowing families sized by bottle volume, semi-automatic machines, lines related to preform and bottle production, and molds. It also sells supporting air and cooling equipment. [1][2]

Every one of these machines turns preforms into empty bottles. Filling, capping and labelling happen further down the line on other machines, so a Bravan rate tells you how many bottles you can form, and nothing about how many you can fill. [2]

SECTION 02

How a blowing project splits up

A blower sits inside a small system of its own. Use the table below to agree who supplies each part before you compare prices.

Swipe or scroll the table to compare all columns.

How a blowing project splits up
Project elementWhat you send BravanWhat to agree in the quote
Preform inputMaterial, weight, neck and the preform supplier's drawingWhich preforms the machine accepts and how they are fed
Bottle formingBottle drawing, volume and performance needsMold, cavity count and the conditions behind the quoted rate
High-pressure airYour required operating conditionsCompressor, air treatment, storage tank and piping
CoolingProcess plan and ambient conditions at your siteChiller and water system
Downstream handoffHow bottles must be transferred and bufferedWhere the blower's discharge ends and your filling line begins

A blower order does not automatically include preform production, a compressor, mold sets or any filling equipment. List each one by name in the quotation.

SECTION 03

The BR servo blower range

Bravan's high-speed page lists five models: BR-8U0.6L, BR-7U0.6L, BR-6U1L, BR-5U1.5L and BR-4U2.5L. Cavity count, maximum bottle volume, dimensions, theoretical output and installed power all change from model to model. [2]

Pick the model from your largest bottle first, then read its rate. The 12,000 bottles an hour belongs to the eight-cavity machine and its 0.6-litre limit. For a 2.5-litre bottle you drop to BR-4U2.5L and 6,000 per hour. [2]

Bravan drives stretching, mold clamping, preform entry and bottle discharge with Siemens servo motors. Request the motor and controller list for the exact revision on your quote, and how Bravan supports those parts after delivery. [2]

SECTION 04

Bottle quality and sample trials

Quality targets depend on your bottle and what goes into it. Send the bottle drawing and define the checks you need, such as dimensions, material distribution, appearance and any agreed mechanical or leak tests. Then ask Bravan to propose a documented sample trial using your real preform and the mold design it intends to build.

SECTION 05

Matching the bottle to your filler

Your filler has its own bottle limits. Zhongya's DABL aseptic filler, for example, lists PET among the bottle materials it runs, yet each new blown design still needs a check at the filler as well as at the mold. Bring both suppliers the same bottle drawing early.

If you are buying a full bottle-production line, mark where preform production ends, where blowing starts and where later packing operations take over. Ask for a layout, a utility schedule and a list showing who is responsible for each interface.

SECTION 06

Confirm before ordering

Ask Bravan to confirm in writing:

  • where the offered machine and mold are built, what Bravan makes itself and which auxiliaries come from other manufacturers;
  • the theoretical rate and the accepted output for your bottle under agreed test conditions, stated separately;
  • the CE documents for the quoted configuration, since the website carries CE-related wording;
  • the comparison basis behind the percentage savings the website quotes for output, power, floor area and air use, if those savings affect your decision;
  • current price, lead time, warranty, service response, staffing and delivery commitments.

SECTION 07

Inquiry checklist

Use this list when you put together your quote request.

SECTION 08

Buyer questions

Does Bravan's rate include filling and capping?

No. The BR machines form empty PET bottles. Filling and capping are separate operations on separate machines. [2]

Can the fastest rate be paired with the largest bottle?

No. Each model has its own capacity and size limits, so the 12,000 rate stops at 0.6 litres. [2]

How should I treat the energy-saving percentages?

Ask Bravan for the baseline machine and test conditions behind each figure, then compare on your own bottle and measurement boundary.
