Zhongya DABL Aseptic Plastic Bottle Filling and Closing Machine
The Zhongya DABL is a linear aseptic machine that sterilizes, fills and closes PET, PE and PP bottles for neutral and acidic liquid foods such as UHT milk, juice, ambient yoghurt, coffee and tea. Four model pairs cover 10,000–12,000 up to 32,000–36,000 bottles per hour, with 100–1,000 ml and 100–250 ml capacity entries and either screw caps or aluminium-film heat sealing. Send your bottle, closure and product details to get a matched model and quotation.

What the DABL is for
DABL is Zhongya's series of aseptic machines that fill and close plastic bottles of liquid food. A linear indexing layout moves bottles through H2O2 dry sterilization, metered filling and capping. Four model pairs run from 10,000–12,000 to 32,000–36,000 bottles per hour, handling PET, PE and PP bottles. Zhongya aims the series at neutral and acidic products: UHT milk, ambient yoghurt, juice, milk beverages, coffee and tea drinks, plus drinks with fruit particles. [1]
The DABL fits an aseptic liquid-food bottle line where you can hand over real product, bottles and closures for matching. Other jobs call for other machines: a powder pouch packer, a glass-vial pharmaceutical filler, or a plain non-aseptic bottle filler. Choose aseptic equipment because the product needs it; a high headline speed alone is a weak reason.
Before pricing, list every product variant and mark which ones must share the line. Tell Zhongya where the quote should start and stop: at empty bottles, with in-house bottle blowing added, or through to inspection and case packing. The DABL page itself covers the filler only.
DABL models and output
Zhongya's series table, as read on 11 October 2026, gives these bands and indexing counts. Quote the model with its suffix exactly as Zhongya writes it. [1]
Swipe or scroll the table to compare all columns.
| Model | Output, bottles/h | Bottles per index | Ask Zhongya |
|---|---|---|---|
| DABL 12/12C | 10,000–12,000 | 12 (1 × 12) | Which product, bottle and closure was this band rated with? |
| DABL 16/16S | 16,000–18,000 | 16 (1 × 16) | Which closure option comes with the offered variant? |
| DABL 24/24C | 20,000–24,000 | 24 (2 × 12) | How does the two-row index change for our bottle shape? |
| DABL 32/32S | 32,000–36,000 | 32 (2 × 16) | Can our upstream and downstream machines keep pace? |
Bottle materials listed are PET, PE and PP. Each bottle design still needs its own check, so send the drawing, neck finish, resin grade, wall details and real samples, and ask for a written result covering sterilization and handling.
Capacity appears as two entries, 100–1,000 ml and 100–250 ml. Closing appears as plastic screw caps or aluminium-film heat sealing. These sit in shared cells across several models, so ask Zhongya to mark up a sheet for your model and suffix showing bottle volume, closure method and format parts. [1]
How a bottle moves through the DABL
Zhongya lays out the cycle in this order: bottle infeed, pick-and-place transfer, bottle sterilization and drying, metered filling, servo cap handling, cap sterilization and drying, capping or sealing, then bottle removal onto the finished-product conveyor. Sterilization is dry, using H2O2. [1]
Setpoints, exposure times, residue limits, room conditions and the full cleaning recipe belong to your configuration. Settle them with Zhongya and have your own process specialist sign them off.
Swipe or scroll the table to compare all columns.
| Interface | You provide | Ask Zhongya for |
|---|---|---|
| Bottle feed | Bottle drawing, orientation, incoming condition | A handling trial on real samples and the transfer design |
| Product supply | Formulation range, temperature, particles, foaming | The filling method and measured trial results |
| Closure feed | Closure drawing, material, delivered condition | The exact closing setup and an agreed closure-quality test |
| Line discharge | Downstream rate and stop behaviour | Layout, who handles accumulation, restart sequence |
Use the table to agree scope line by line. Any auxiliary function you need should appear in the quotation by name.
From rated speed to bottles you can sell
An hourly rating says how fast the filler cycles, while your plant cares about good bottles per shift. Ask Zhongya separately for stable running speed, planned cleaning and changeover time, startup rejects, unplanned stops and what counts as an accepted bottle. The slowest connected machine sets the pace of the whole line.
A worked example: 12,000 bottles/h for six running hours is 72,000 bottles. At an assumed 98% first-pass acceptance, that leaves 70,560 good bottles. Both figures are planning arithmetic only; your own trial and contract set the real time and yield. Count reworked bottles separately.
Ask for a timed trial report that names the model, recipe, bottle volume, closure, sample size, rejects and their causes, stoppages, and the handling equipment in the run. When comparing suppliers, put net accepted output against net accepted output.
Aseptic performance and running costs
Zhongya says the DABL takes less floor space and uses less energy than a conventional rotary aseptic machine. The page gives no figures for a named rotary line, so ask for measured consumption at matched output, product and package. [1]
Shelf life depends on your formulation, package and plant. Agree the validation scope with Zhongya, and decide with qualified specialists who handles product treatment, sterile product transfer, package treatment and the surrounding room.
Confirm before ordering
The product page leaves these points open for your configuration. Ask Zhongya to state each one in writing, and keep the field blank in your comparison until the figure arrives:
- filling accuracy for your product;
- utility use at the quoted speed, total connected load and compressed-air conditions;
- changeover time, routine consumables and the cleaning procedure;
- installation footprint and service response in your country.
Running a useful sample trial
- Fix the setup first: model and suffix, format parts, bottle and closure revisions, and the products to run.
- Agree the measures before starting: accepted count, how fill is measured, closure checks and stop/restart rules. Both sides set the actual limits.
- Run easy and difficult formats as separate tests. One smooth run on a thin liquid says little about the rest of your SKU list.
- Time changeover and recovery on their own. Ask which parts, tools, operator steps and cleaning tasks the quoted time includes.
- Log every deviation and fix. Agree which results must be repeated before shipment and which after installation.
Turn these steps into a factory acceptance test plan that both parties sign after technical review.

Buyer questions
Does every DABL reach 36,000 bottles/h?
No. The 32,000–36,000 bottles/h band belongs to the DABL 32/32S. Ask Zhongya to confirm the rate for your product and configuration. [1]
Can I judge DABL against a rotary line on energy alone?
Ask for measured consumption at the same output, product, package and operating limits. The product page compares the two in words only. [1]
Can I see a DABL running before I order?
Ask Zhongya for a factory trial with your own bottles, closures and product, timed and documented as described above.
