Zhengguang ZGXD150 Empty-Can Depalletizer
The ZGXD150 is an empty-can depalletizer from Ningbo Zhengguang Food Machinery, listed in its depalletising and palletising range. It takes pallets of empty cans and passes the cans on to the rest of a can line, ahead of filling and seaming. Zhengguang publishes the model and its duty without a numeric specification table. To get a firm offer, send your can and pallet drawings, layer pattern, transfer height, required can rate and conveyor details, and ask for a dated layout and specification for the build you are quoted.

ZGXD150 in brief
The ZGXD150 unloads pallets of empty cans and feeds the cans into a canning line. The machine appears as an empty-can depalletizer in Zhengguang's depalletising and palletising catalogue. The product page publishes no figures for throughput, pallet size, layer height or can size, so you will need a quoted specification for your own cans. It suits food and beverage plants that receive empty cans on pallets and want the unloading step automated. [2]
Where it sits in a can line
The machine works at the very start of container handling, before filling. It handles empty cans only. Filling, sealing and sterilizing happen on other machines, and stacking filled cases at the end of the line is the job of a finished-case palletizer.
Details to send with your inquiry
Zhengguang has to size the machine around your load. Describe the full incoming pallet, since the can diameter on its own leaves most questions open.
Swipe or scroll the table to compare all columns.
| What Zhengguang needs | Detail to provide |
|---|---|
| Can drawing | Material, diameter, height and any features that make handling delicate |
| Pallet drawing | Footprint, construction and allowed variation |
| Load pattern | Number of layers, arrangement and total load height |
| Separator materials | Layer pads, frames or other items that hold the load steady |
| Incoming condition | Full and part pallets, and the knocks they take in transport |
| Downstream interface | Conveyor height, lane layout and the flow you need |
Put these into your packaging brief and ask Zhengguang to return a specification for that load. The same can can behave differently on another pallet or in another layer pattern.
Cans, pads and pallets
Three things leave the machine: cans, layer separators and empty pallets. Ask how each one is handled, which steps are automatic and which need an operator. Separator removal and pallet stacking are not listed on the product page, so ask whether they are standard or optional. [2]
Request a layout that shows can discharge, pallet entry and exit, separator handling, operator access and guarding. Name any equipment another party will supply. If you keep an existing conveyor, send its details and agree who owns the handoff.
Rating the machine
The 150 in the name is a model number. Ask for a dated rate in cans per minute, with the can size, layer pattern, operator assumptions and stop conditions it was based on.
In a trial, count good cans at the agreed discharge point. Log damaged or tipped cans, failed transfers, pallet changes and stops caused downstream. Layer cycle time alone overstates what reaches the filler. Compact fillers such as the JKM micro canning line can take cans by hand or from a depalletizer option, so check which infeed your filler expects before you size this discharge.
Acceptance and restart tests
Run the trial on representative pallets, including the normal variation you receive. Agree what condition a discharged can must be in and how suspect cans are pulled out. Then demonstrate, by a safe method your team signs off, how the machine responds to a part layer, a gap in supply and a blocked outfeed.
Ask how a half-unloaded pallet is tracked and how the system restarts after a stop. If you run several cans or pallet patterns, include a format change in the test and record the parts, adjustments and restart checks it takes.
Installation and documents
Ask Zhengguang for the installation footprint, utility schedule, load rating and control system of the offered build, together with maintenance instructions, wear parts, operator training and service terms. Specifications from other depalletizers will not carry over, so get these for the ZGXD150 itself.
When the depalletizer comes as part of a Zhengguang canned-food or beverage line, keep its acceptance test separate. Depalletizer performance and filling or processing performance are two results, and a full-line test should show where each supplier's responsibility starts and stops.
Get these in writing
Before you sign, have Zhengguang put the following on paper:
- the rated output, pallet size, load height and can range for the quoted build;
- whether layer-pad removal and empty-pallet stacking are included;
- the utility, control and guarding specification;
- the legal supplier, build site and service contact.

Buyer questions
Does the ZGXD150 handle filled or packed goods?
No. Its listed job is unloading empty cans before they reach the filler. [2]
What speed does it run at?
Zhengguang does not publish a rate on the product page. Ask for one in writing for your can and pallet.
Does it remove layer pads automatically?
Ask Zhengguang for a full list of included equipment and operations, with separator handling named in it.
