BUYER PLANNING NOTES

Define the load before the machine

Provide the dimensions, weight range and orientation of the cases, bags or other units to be stacked. Include the pallet dimensions and a drawing of each required layer pattern. State the target load height and any known handling constraints. Ask the supplier to confirm each pattern with the actual package, not only a generic layout.

Map the full handling scope

Identify how products arrive and how completed pallets leave. Ask whether pallet supply, layer sheets, load securing, conveyors and downstream transport are included. Mark operator access and available floor space on the proposed layout. Safety measures and installation responsibilities need a project-specific review with the supplier and responsible site personnel.

Compare complete operating cycles

Agree how the required output is measured across pallet changes, product gaps and interruptions. Ask how damaged packages, unstable layers and a change of load pattern are handled. Include a demonstration of recovery after a stop and confirm the training and maintenance scope. A stacking demonstration alone does not establish performance for your complete production line.
