YN-2000B in brief

The YN-2000B is Yongning's turntable pallet wrapper with powered film pre-stretch. Its specification lists soft start and stop, automatic turntable return and photoelectric detection of load height. The standard table measures 1,500 mm and is rated for 1,500 kg, while larger tables up to 2,200 mm carry 2,000 kg. The column is 2,400 mm as standard and the film is LLDPE up to 500 mm wide. It suits a wrapping station where a forklift or pallet truck sets each load on the table.

Choose one complete configuration

Turntable, column, loading arrangement and power supply are chosen together. Ask Yongning for a single configuration sheet that names all four, so the compact 1,500 mm table never gets paired with the 2,000 kg rating that belongs to the larger tables. Yongning lists these as model options. The height rule sets an upper limit only, so also ask for the lowest load height the machine handles. [2]

Turntable speed and pallet output

The table turns at 0–10 rpm. Pallets per hour depend on the wrap programme and handling time as well as rotation, so the rpm figure gives you no pallet rate by itself. [2]

A useful trial times the full pallet cycle from a defined start to a defined finish. Record the rotations and vertical passes, how film is attached and cut, how the pallet goes on and off, and which stops are counted. Ask Yongning which of those steps the machine does on its own and which fall to the operator.

Light or unstable loads need care during the trial. A load under the rated mass can still shift as it spins, so have Yongning assess your actual load and how it sits on the table. If the same pallets also get strapped, Beili's lance-type strapper passes its strap through or around the pallet, which makes pallet openings a check that only a strapping trial covers.

Film and wrap quality

The specification lists LLDPE stretch film up to 500 mm wide on rolls up to 280 mm outside diameter. Ask for the remaining roll-interface details and the film specification for the offered machine before you order consumables, since width alone leaves out too much. [2]

Ask for proposed settings and a trial on your real load. Judge the finished wrap against criteria you set, including corners, protrusions and load surfaces. If Yongning quotes a film saving or better transit protection from pre-stretch, have it measured on that same load.

Loading, layout and installation

Optional items on the earlier specification include a ramp, an external control box and an electromagnetic brake. Each one has to be selected and priced in the quotation; a product photo may show options you are not buying. [2]

Describe the forklift or pallet-truck route, the floor condition and the space you have. Ask for a layout that shows the full operating and service envelope around the turntable. Have qualified staff assess access, guarding and how the station fits the surrounding workplace.

Decide whether the wrapping station stands alone or links to conveyors. The YN-2000B turns the load on its table. If your load must stay still while it is wrapped, look at a rotary-arm pallet wrapper such as Bogote's, and discuss that machine type as a separate project.

Trial and handover record

1. Write down the exact table, column and loading options and the pallet and load used.
2. Check how the automatic height detection reacts to your load surfaces and shapes.
3. Run the agreed wrap programme and record film use and full cycle time as separate figures.
4. Inspect the accepted loads and note any adjustment or rework needed.
5. Agree training, maintenance access, spare parts and the settings to keep on file at handover.
