Syntegon's own location page names the legal entity, says the Hangzhou operation started in 2001 and places it in Qiantang, Hangzhou. The page covers liquid and solid-dose pharmaceutical work, including filling, granulation, isolation and inspection, plus related services. The BIO Asia–Taiwan exhibitor directory lists the company under its Chinese name, 星德科包裝技術（杭州）有限公司, with the matching English name and the Syntegon corporate website. That entry links the local entity to the group site. [4]

Syntegon is a multinational group. The Hangzhou team may provide engineering, sales and support on a project while a particular machine is built at another group location. Ask for the legal seller, the manufacturing site and the party responsible for service, and have all three named in the proposal.

What to bring to a Hangzhou quotation

The location covers both liquid and solid pharmaceutical work, so each kind of project needs its own starting point. A vial line, a capsule project and a food-packaging job raise different questions. Prepare a separate technical brief for each one before you ask for prices. [1]

Speeds, format ranges and containment figures belong to one machine family. Ask for the figures of the family you are actually quoted, even when two lines carry the same brand. Aseptic projects also vary widely. Zhongya's DABL series fills plastic bottles with liquid foods such as UHT milk and juice, which needs a very different specification from a vial line.

Syntegon lists 600 containers per minute for both, for selected configurations. The rate you get depends on the filling system, container transport, checking set-up and operating conditions, so ask for all four in one offer. [2]

The choice mostly turns on two points. Will you fill ampoules as well as vials? Do you need every vial checked, or is a statistical sample enough? Once you know, request a dated configuration sheet for that one machine.

SECTION 04

Plan the line before the machine

The group vial range runs from preparation and container pretreatment through filling and closing, optional freeze-drying, barrier technology, inspection and sterilization-related equipment. A buyer can take a single module or several connected ones. [2]

1. Define the input: bulk or ready-to-use containers, dosage form, batch range and the filling requirement.
2. Set the process boundary: list which pretreatment and downstream steps already exist on your site and which you want quoted.
3. Allocate the interfaces: name who handles transfers, controls, alarms, utilities and documentation between modules.
4. Agree acceptance: decide what will be shown before shipment and at installation, and which materials and samples you will supply.

Ask Syntegon to describe in the proposal how the quoted machine is built and assembled, and at which site.

SECTION 05

Isolators, RABS and quality support

Syntegon's barrier-system page separates isolators, closed RABS and open RABS. It explains how each connects with filling equipment, air management and transfer systems, and what lifecycle services come with them. [3]

The useful questions cover product and operator protection, how often operators intervene, cleaning and decontamination, transfers, room interfaces and documentation. Ask Syntegon to lay out the proposed arrangement against your real product and building. Back labels such as "aseptic" or "Annex 1" with an agreed technical scope and your own quality review. [2][3]

SECTION 06

Installation, training and spare parts

A project may combine the Hangzhou team with equipment or specialists from other group sites. Ask who leads installation, how training is delivered, who holds spare parts, and whether software and service agreements are priced separately. [1]

Confirm before ordering

Ask Syntegon to confirm price, delivery schedule, local production capacity, factory audit results and customer acceptance records in writing as part of the proposal. Group-wide workforce figures and installation counts describe the whole group, so ask for Hangzhou figures if they matter to you. A machine in the global catalogue may differ in stock and specification from market to market; request the specification that applies to your order. For any installed reference you rely on, ask for its regulatory approval status, certificate validity and validation records.
