EVE continuous vertical bagger at a glance
The EVE series from Hangzhou EPLUS OBO forms bags from rollstock film, fills them and seals them in continuous motion. The product page lists 5–200 packs per minute, pillow bags 35–250 mm wide and 60–700 mm long, standing bags within a 250 mm width-plus-depth limit, and a machine mass of about 900 kg. It runs printed or unprinted heat-sealable film. EVE fits buyers who want the bag made on the machine from film, fed by a dosing unit chosen for their product. [2]

The standing-bag limit is a sum. A bag 250 mm wide leaves no room for depth, so a narrower face buys a deeper gusset. Send the complete drawing and ask EPLUS to state how its forming arrangement handles it. [2] If your standing bags arrive premade, look at a rotary pouch machine such as the ZH-GD8-200, which handles flat, stand-up and zipper bags.
Matching the dosing unit
A vertical bagger can only seal what the feeder delivers. Tell EPLUS what you pack in a brief covering product type, flow, dose and tolerance, whether powder, granules or another material. Then ask three things. Who supplies the doser? How do its ready and fill signals tie into film pull and sealing? What does the machine do when product is missing, dosing stops or a bag cycle fails?
Wolf states that its VCI baggers begin each fill only after the bottom seal is made, through a signal exchange with the feeder above. Ask EPLUS for sequence detail at that level.
Getting a realistic output figure
The 5–200 band spans many conditions. Bag length, seal requirements, product transfer and added accessories all change the rate EPLUS can offer. Ask for a figure tied to your product and film. Quote this machine at its own EVE rate; the twin variant listed by the dairy association carries a separate, higher figure, covered on the EPLUS OBO maker page. [3]
Judge the rate by counting finished, conforming packs over an agreed run, with rejects and stops logged. Include film changes, coding and inspection if they are part of the order. A trial without the dosing system leaves out a large part of your line.
Film trials and changeovers
Send production film, printed artwork with the repeat length where relevant, and real product. Agree what counts as a good seal, appearance, fill quantity and product condition. Ask EPLUS to record the settings and forming parts used. Both sides should sign off these criteria before the trial starts.
If you run several sizes, request a change-parts list and watch a changeover between two real formats. Log adjustment time, film waste and restart checks. Ask whether all your sizes run on one forming set or need tools and extra parts.
Installation
Ask for a layout that shows the dosing equipment, film loading, finished-pack discharge, guarding and operator access. The 900 kg mass is a starting figure; floor loading and installed dimensions come from the full layout. Confirm electrical, pneumatic and other services for the delivered system.
Confirm before ordering
The EVE page shows a product image labelled EVI4000. Ask EPLUS to confirm in writing the exact model and revision it is quoting, the utility schedule, film compatibility, the rate for your format and service terms. The product page gives no price or delivery date, so request both in the quotation.

Buyer questions
Will every bag size run at 200 packs per minute?
No. 200 is the top of the published band. Ask EPLUS for the rate at your bag length and dose. [2]
Is EVI4000 the model name to order?
Ask EPLUS. The EVE page and its image use different names, so have the model code written on the quotation.
How current is the specification?
The figures come from an EPLUS page copy dated 2026-09-26. Ask for the dated sheet of the current revision before you compare quotes.
