Anxiang AX-Pack Integrated Visual Counting and Packaging Machine

The Anxiang AX-Pack is a camera-based machine that counts discrete parts and packs each counted batch. It suits factories that ship loose parts or mixed kits in counted bags. Anxiang's product page names the integrated system but lists no model code, speed, accuracy or bag size, so the quotation should carry those figures. Send real parts, your count per pack and a drawing of the finished bag to get a matched configuration and price.

What the AX-Pack does

The AX-Pack is Anxiang's integrated visual counting and packaging machine. A camera system counts loose parts, and the machine groups each counted batch for packing. Anxiang's page gives the machine name and a general description. It lists no model code or parameter table, and the site files it under warehouse inventory equipment. Ask Anxiang to put the model, rate and bag range for your parts into the quotation. [2]

The five stages to specify

A counting packer is a chain of stages. Fill in your side of each row and ask Anxiang to answer the right-hand column for the offered machine.

Swipe or scroll the table to compare all columns.

The five stages to specify
StageWhat you supplyWhat Anxiang should state
FeedingPart material, size, surface and bulk conditionFeeder type and how parts are separated and oriented
CountingTarget count and the discrepancy you can acceptDetection method and how a count is decided
BatchingSingle part or mixed kitHow batches accumulate and how recipes are controlled
PackagingBag or film format and a finished-pack drawingWhether the machine itself forms and closes the pack
Reject handlingWhat makes a batch unacceptableHow a bad batch is isolated, logged and the line restarted

The packaging row matters most here. The product title says integrated packaging while the site category says inventory equipment, so have the quotation list each stage as included or optional. [2]

Build a sample set from real production

Send parts taken from normal production, covering the full spread of shape, colour, finish and size you accept. Add pieces that cling, overlap or arrive in clumps if your process produces them. Ask Anxiang to state the feeding and presentation conditions its offer is based on.

A clean demonstration with well-separated pieces tells you little. What you need to see is how the machine handles your actual input, how it spots an uncertain count and how it keeps that batch out of finished packs.

Agree the error rules before talking accuracy

Write down how the trial will separate missing pieces, extra pieces, wrong mixes, false rejects and faults the machine misses. Prepare a known reference count so every machine result can be checked against it. A percentage figure only compares fairly when its base quantity and test conditions are stated.

If Anxiang quotes an absolute accuracy figure, ask for the test scope and its limits. The product page carries no accuracy number, so the figure you rely on should come from a trial on your parts.

Keeping each counted batch with its bag

Ask what happens between the count and the seal in the bagging section. How does a counted group move into the bag? Can parts hang up in a chute? What does the machine do when it stops mid-batch? With a vertical bagger, ask how the counter signals it. The Wolf VCI series page, for instance, has the bagger and the feeder above it talking so that each fill follows the bag-bottom seal. Have Anxiang demonstrate, under a safe agreed procedure, what happens after an incomplete batch or a failed bag cycle.

State the bag size, film, contents per bag and any marking or traceability you need. If counted parts go into premade pouches, the packer becomes a premade-pouch machine, for example Zhongheng's rotary premade-pouch packer, and the transfer has to be worked out for that machine. List coding, check-weighing and other inspection as separate included or optional items. A photo of a bag on a conveyor is too thin to serve as a scope.

Rate and changeover

Ask for a rate quoted on your part, your count per pack and your bag format. Over an agreed run, record accepted packs, rejected groups, feeder top-ups and stops. Parts per minute, batches per minute and finished packs per minute are three different numbers, so name the unit.

If you run several parts or recipes, test one representative change. Record how leftover parts are cleared, what is adjusted, how the recipe is selected and what is checked on restart. Ask who can edit recipes and what help Anxiang gives when you add new parts later.

Confirm before ordering

Ask Anxiang to confirm in writing:

  • the model code, the bag sizes it handles and a good-pack rate on your parts;
  • whether the offer counts and bags, or counts for inventory only;
  • the count accuracy measured in a documented trial on your own parts;
  • that any speed quoted comes from this configuration and your samples, and not from another Anxiang machine.

Buyer questions

How accurate is the AX-Pack count?

Anxiang publishes no accuracy figure for this machine. Agree a documented test on your actual parts and use that result.

Does the AX-Pack seal the bag as well as count?

The name points to counting and packing together, while the site category reads as inventory equipment. Ask for a written equipment list that shows whether bag forming and sealing are included. [2]

Can I use a speed from another Anxiang model?

Each machine and sample runs at its own rate. Ask for a rate measured on this configuration with your parts.
