The lower diameter entry of 1 mm is very small for a candy. Ask Huadong to confirm the usable size range on the exact machine with your samples.
Choosing the wrap style
Huadong's wider range includes flat sealing, double-twist and folding. The product table names none of them for this machine. Ask for a finished-pack sample, a drawing and a written statement of the closing method, and whether the machine can switch between styles. [1][2]
Specify the wrapping material, any print and the appearance you accept. Ask what roll size, film structure and format parts the machine needs. Fitting inside the size range is the first screen; feeding, closing and product protection still have to be shown on a trial.
How the candy arrives at the machine
Send everyday production candy along with notes on product temperature, surface condition, shape variation and fragility. Ask Huadong whether you need upstream conditioning, separation or orientation equipment, and whether it is in the quote or bought separately.
The product page leaves the feeder scope open. "Automatic" describes the wrapping cycle, so state how candy will be presented to the infeed and who is responsible for keeping that supply steady.
Measure good wraps in the trial
Agree how incomplete closures, damaged candy, poor appearance and rejects will be identified. Run your real candy and film over an agreed period. Count accepted packs and log stops, film changes and rejected pieces.
Ask Huadong for the operating rate it proposes for your candy and film, since the 100–160/min figure carries no product conditions. Also ask what one count stands for. Estes, for example, rates its EST-EW film wrapping series in rolls per minute, where one roll is a stack of ends. A short video at top cycle speed shows little about sustained good output.
If you run several sizes, ask for a format-parts list and watch a change between two typical formats. Note the adjustment time, setup waste and restart checks.
Installation and service
Ask for a layout showing the wrapper, feeding, discharge, guards and service access. The published outline covers the machine body only. Confirm the electrical supply, how the machine is lifted and moved, cleaning access and routine wear parts for the delivered build.
The wrapped piece is a food product, so request current documents for product-contact parts and cleaning. They should cover every surface that touches the candy or the film, not only the frame. Agree commissioning, training and support terms in the contract.
